Preschool – Three's
Building on the Language Arts skills acquired in the Two’s class, the A Beka curriculum starts the building blocks of phonics through recognition of name, sound and picture for short vowels and consonants.
Children learn to recognize vowels and consonants in upper and lower case. Preparatory math starts with number recognition of one to thirty and number concepts of one through fifteen.
Teachers focus daily on character development using a "value of the week" to help children learn the importance of values such as kindness, caring, honesty and integrity.
Discovery centers throughout the room give three-year olds ample time to develop social skills through dramatic play. Outdoor time twice a day on our age-appropriate playground gives children needed play, fresh air, sun and nature.
