Preschool – Four's
Learning to read in a fun and supportive environment will equip your child with a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
We use the A Beka curriculum, to help your child build a foundation for reading. They will understand and recognize the difference between long and short vowels, consonants and be able to sound out blends of these. By the end of the year, they will be reading sentences and stories with one or two vowel words.
Our teachers incorporate writing, math and science into daily playtime. Your child will learn to shape both upper and lower case letters, learn to count to 100, and do simple addition exercises. The wonderful days of a four-year-old are packed with dramatic play, art, music and exploration. Every day is an adventure!
